We welcome you to the Greater Illinois Region of the Classic Car Club of America! I have the pleasure of serving as the Regional Director. Our region encompasses Chicago and the metropolitan area, central, western, and northwestern Illinois and has over 125 members. Having been founded in 1954, our Region chapter is one of the oldest. Our members car ownership is very diverse in terms of numbers, makes, and models and we encourage all who have an interest in automobiles, antiques, whether they own one or not, to explore membership.

Our activities include several social events and picnics, spring and fall car tours to area places of interest, “behind the scenes” tours of local collections of interest, and of course the annual Oak Brook Car show at the Oak Brook Mall on Father’s Day. This show covers the entire Mall area of Oak Brook Center and includes over 100 automobiles. It is a highly anticipated event, not only for club members but also the public at large. It truly offers something of interest for everyone to enjoy a full day at the Mall and we have been hosting it for over 35 years. The Chicago area offers truly diverse collections of interest for members to explore. Recent events included a tour of an Organ Pipe factory, a unique mini/micro car collection, and a Valentines Dinner at the original Marmon showroom on South Michigan Avenue.

The only thing that all members share is a common interest in older automobiles. If you do too, explore our site and give me a call!
